Tractor Power Steering Unit and SealKit

The Orbitrol Hydraulic Steering Unit is a hydrostatic steering system that precisely controls hydraulic flow to the steering cylinder, offering smooth and efficient steering. This compact unit integrates the functions of a steering valve and a flow amplifier, converting mechanical input from the steering wheel into hydraulic pressure.
When the operator turns the steering wheel, the input shaft rotates the valve spool. This spool then directs hydraulic fluid from the pump to the appropriate side of the steering cylinder, causing the cylinder piston to move and turn the wheels. In a neutral position, with the steering wheel stationary, the valve allows fluid to circulate back to the reservoir.
